There are more than 120 NBI clearance offices across the Philippines: the main NBI Clearance Center on UN Avenue in Manila, regional and district offices, and satellite offices in malls and city halls. You can only visit one with an appointment. Book it at clearance.nbi.gov.ph, where the branch list shows every office that’s currently taking appointments.
Below is the full list by region, with addresses and hours, plus the Metro Manila branches that stay open until 6 or 7 PM.
We are not the NBI. This is an independent guide. Offices open, move and close. The branch list in the NBI portal is the live one, so if an office below doesn’t appear there, it isn’t taking appointments right now.

How to find a branch with open slots
- Log in at clearance.nbi.gov.ph and complete your applicant information.
- Click Apply for Clearance and choose the ID you’ll bring.
- Open the branch list. It shows the offices currently taking appointments.
- Pick a branch, then an open date and an AM or PM slot. If your first choice is full, try another branch nearby, or check again another day.
The whole booking process, from registration to payment, is in our guide on how to book an NBI appointment online. Remember that the slot is tied to the branch you chose, so go to that branch and no other.
Metro Manila branches open after 5 PM
Most government-building offices close at 5 PM. If you work office hours, these mall branches are worth trying first:
| Branch | Hours |
|---|---|
| Ali Mall, Cubao, Quezon City | 10:00 AM–7:00 PM |
| Choice Market Ortigas, Pasig | 10:00 AM–7:00 PM |
| Valenzuela Town Center | 10:00 AM–7:00 PM |
| DMW Building, Mandaluyong | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM |
| Berma Centre, Baclaran, Parañaque | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM |
| SM Center Las Piñas | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM |
Outside Metro Manila, the One-Stop Shop at SM City Bacoor stays open until 7 PM, and many provincial mall offices close at 6 PM instead of 5 PM. The NBI’s published list gives hours but not days, so check the dates the portal offers for weekend slots.
The main NBI Clearance Center vs NBI headquarters
The NBI’s headquarters moved to Pasay City, but clearances are still processed at the NBI Clearance Center on United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila, open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For a clearance, go to UN Avenue, not the Pasay headquarters.
You can reach the clearance helpdesk at (02) 8524-1277 or 0939 150 2880.
Complete list of NBI clearance offices by region
This list follows the NBI’s own published directory of clearance offices, tidied up and grouped by region. It has 125 offices. Hours are as published; call ahead or check the portal before a long trip.

Before you go to any branch
- Bring the right documents: your reference number, proof of payment and two valid IDs. Here’s the full list of NBI clearance requirements.
- Arrive on time for your AM or PM slot, and give yourself time to find the office inside a mall.
- Ask for the priority lane if you’re a senior citizen, a person with disability or pregnant.
- Dress neatly. Shorts, sandos and slippers can get you turned away.
FAQs: NBI clearance branches
Can I walk in to an NBI branch without an appointment?
Plan on booking online. The process is built around appointments, and walk-ins are limited. Here’s more on whether you can walk in for an NBI clearance.
Can I go to a different branch from the one I booked?
No. Your appointment and payment are tied to the branch you chose. If you can’t make your slot, the 15-day grace period after payment applies to that same branch.
Why isn’t my nearest branch in the portal’s list?
It may be closed, moved, fully booked or not taking appointments right now. Choose another nearby office or check again another day.
I missed my appointment. Do I have to book again?
Not right away. Once your payment shows as Paid, you have 15 days to visit the branch you chose. Here’s what to do if you miss your NBI appointment.
Is there an NBI clearance office in every province?
Not in every province, but every region has at least one, usually in the regional capital, and many larger cities also have mall or city hall offices.
